- LAMINATED VOICE OF THE PLASTIC PRAWN -

In the neverending circle of life- you eat or be eaten! The strong eat the veak and it has always been so. Nothing more addictive than the thrill of hunt and the thirst for more..  But we as humans cannot forget that with great power comes great responsibilities.
The exhibition first of all is a metaphor for unheard voices of the world. Voices for water, voices for food, voices for clean enviroment and the voices for peace..

The exhibition explores the thrill of hunt and the game of ‘’eat or be eaten’’, but at the same time is a testament to the deep wounds inflicted to the marine ecosystems by the plastic and petroleum pollution. The artworks are mainly made of polystyrene because of the material’s visual properties in the way that it resembles the structure of a corall which is one of enviromentally most fragile elements of the water ecosystems. And conceptually as a iconic example of enviromental pollutant that in this case is made into the work of art and so by the added value will hopefully not end in the landfill or the sea, so that we can keep enjoying the fruits and marvels of the nature for many years to come.
